Jenny Ashman (she/her) is an actor, singer and voiceover artist. She’s originally from Alaska, but they didn’t have much theatre up there, so she can now be found splitting her time between NYC and LA.

She was most recently seen onstage in the North American tour of Come From Away. Her performances garnered critical praise, with one reviewer noting that she “blew everyone away… with her soaring rendition of ‘Me and the Sky’.”

Ashman originated roles in Ever After at the Alliance Theatre, and in Dave at Arena Stage. Other regional theatre credits include the title role in Evita at Opera North and Kansas City Repertory Theatre, where her performance was described as “regal and imperious” with “brilliant” vocals. At the Hollywood Bowl she performed as Ariel's mersister 'Arista' alongside Sara Bareilles and Rebel Wilson in The Little Mermaid and hung on the arm of Taye Diggs as a 'Silly Girl' in Beauty and the Beast.

Between tour and regional theatre jobs, she’s worked all over the country (only 6 states left to visit!). Onscreen, she has appeared on Law & Order: SVU and the film Rebel in the Rye. Her voice can be heard on the score of the Wicked film. Her voiceover work has been featured in national commercials for GAP, Aveeno, General Mills, and in many, many political ads across the country.

Ashman has a BFA in Acting from the University of Central Florida and is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.

She’s been nominated for one award and lost to Sally Struthers.
